The PicoKey App is now available. It is the official desktop application designed to manage and interact with Pico HSM, Pico FIDO, Pico OpenPGP and Pico FIDO2 (Pico FIDO + Pico OpenPGP) devices.
PicoKey App provides a unified interface for device detection, configuration, status inspection, and advanced operations that are not practical to expose through standard OS tools alone.

Design philosophy
PicoKey App is optional. PicoKeys firmware can operate perfectly without it using standard tools and interfaces (FIDO, OpenPGP, PKCS#11, etc.). The app exists to provide advanced functionality, better ergonomics, and a dedicated UI when deeper interaction is required.
Compatibility
PicoKey App is actively aligned with the latest PicoKeys firmware releases and continues to evolve alongside them to ensure reliable interaction and long-term compatibility.
